Since ancient times, the medical healing properties of the Dead Sea have
been well known. Aristotle, Queen of Sheba, King Solomon and Cleopatra

The Dead Sea itself, which has 6 times more concentration of salts and
minerals than in the ocean, is located at the lowest point on the earth,
390 meters (about 1300 feet) below sea level. Because of this unique
location, certain atmospheric, thermal, chemical and optical
characteristics are found which occur nowhere else in the world. For the
salts the number of minerals is 26 and for the black mud it is 49.
